"The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still." Exodus 14:14
I walked out to the studio this morning and my mind was going in many directions and then I started worrying and then I was slowly becoming overwhelmed.
The crazy thing is that I had just finished reading and writing down Scripture this morning.. but then so quickly forgot God's promises.... and then...
And then.... then I looked over at my easel and saw this church I had been working on the past few days and read the Words... "The Lord will fight for you."
God was gently reminding me, " Don't worry, I am here.... take courage.....
I will fight for you ( I will FIGHT for you)... You need only to be still."
Do I really believe that? So many times I choose worry instead of letting go... how much I need to lay it all down at Jesus' feet.
We are all in different battles and we are all living different phases of life but we have this in common.... God loves us deeply and He really is fighting for us!
We are all on this journey of life together and as Ram Dass wrote.
"We're all just walking each other home".
As we go about our day, may we remember these beautiful, hope-filled words and remind others of these as well....
"The Lord will fight for you.... you need only to be still."
