To me, this is a happy morning.... very happy happy morning:
Quiet... outside... 70 degrees... morning.... bird chirp...flowers... coffee.... no rush..... just sitting...
Journal time... time to write... time to listen... time to pray... reading the book by Esther De Waal- " lost in wonder". and I think I've read it about 4 times... but each year I need to read it again and remember what it says... about taking time to really "see" things.... to listen.. and to be.... to wonder.
So I have a morning to do just that... to listen... to be.... to sit...
have flowers: check
Have tea towel ( just got in Highlands at Annawear) love that store! check
Have coffee: check ( in special Cashier's mug) check check.
Flowers in the sweetest little vase... brought back from Cashier's mountain festival. A local potter made it and put a bird and a ladybug on the little vase. A ladybug is a symbol for Chinese adoptions and a bird is such a sweet reminder to dream:)
Tea towel says it all.... w o n d e r.
And I love this quote below from "Lost in Wonder":
"G.K. Chestering once said that although wonders would never be lacking in this world, wonderment will.
.... Eric James summed it all up for me when he told us to...
Re-discover the wondering heart."
And that is my fall motto....
Yea for wonderment... yea for re-discovering the W O N D E R!
