"The Lord announces the Word and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng." Psalm 68:11
So I've never really seen this verse until I heard Christine Caine speak on it. Wow! It's so powerful! A "mighty throng" of women!
God uses us ( women!) to share His beautiful Word and He empowers us with His Spirit!
And I think of all the women who I link arms with as we share God in so many different and creative ways. Each of us have certain gifts and some are many miles away using their gifts... like Meredith Toering: Arise & Go, as she's proclaiming God's Word and love through working with heart babies in an orphanage in China. And other friends, like Liza Snyder Art, who lives at the beach and proclaims God's Word through her beautiful paintings and teaching art classes. My mom volunteers at a school and helps children read and she shares God's love in such a gentle and authentic way.
Many of my friends are raising and caring for their kids daily through much love, grace and prayer. Wellon Art is an artist, mother and advocate for orphans and she has two adopted children plus bio twins. Gina Hurry Art, artist and founder of InSpero, connects artists around the city of Birmingham. @katieflores is a preschool director at a local church and proclaims God's Word in creative and love-filled ways.
@Terrihinojosa started a creative Bible study for girls called, Whimsy Girl Club, and Terri also ministers at her school where she works.
I could go on and on and on as I think of all the women out there proclaiming God's Word and how they are using their gifts for His delight and glory! It's so powerful!
Thankful for this "Mighty Throng" and you are a part of it too!
We are all in this together and it makes my heart stronger when I think of us joining arms and not standing alone.
We need each other.
The more community and unity... the stronger and bolder we become.
So thankful for you all and the God-colors you bring to this world!
Thankful we can be a "Mighty Throng"!
