I lost everything to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. My home, car, clothing, furnishings. My faith is what sustained me. I lived with my sister for a year and recently moved into an apartment. I have chosen to show my faith in many ways throughout my small apartment to remind me daily how far I’ve come. I bought 3 of these and will have framed. They are beautiful and I love them.

St. Mark Church was down the street from our new home when I was in 3rd grade. I played the guitar and sang on the alter when I got old enough…it was the first time I felt close to Mass…my mom sang in the choir…she loved our church, too…we lost it after Hurricane Katrina, leaving one church in our Parish that I had never visited; i didn’t attend often, I attended a new church on & off when I met my husband, and started to attend a new one after we married, I was uncomfortable and felt out of place. I now watch service that is being held from the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans…from my living room, and feel a part of the Mass. Amen, Jesus…God Bless us Every one 🙏
