This hymn becomes closer to my heart as each year passes. It was my grandmother’s favorite hymn and one of my dad’s too. ⁠

To walk with God among the flowers, to talk with him as a friend talks to a friend, in the stillness and in the quiet... while the “dew is still on the roses”... is a beautiful love picture of our friendship with God. 💕⁠
